YOUR PERSONALIZED RECOMMENDATIONS

YOU ARE SEEKING CLARITY AND GUIDANCE
ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP

I see that you are wondering about your traits and behaviors – could they be related to neurodivergence?  Could you be autistic (Asperger’s)?  What does that even look like in an adult? If you’ve been to therapy, it has probably been unproductive – or even made things worse. I’ve heard this a lot!

Based on your responses, I believe the options below will benefit you the most.

Click the drop-down arrow for detailed descriptions. You can get started today.

Do you have neurodivergent traits that are similar to others who are diagnosed with autism?

This 10-question assessment is based on the Autism Quotient – 10 (AQ-10). Scores of 6 or above indicate traits in common with other men and women diagnosed as Autistic or Asperger’s.

This is a free assessment.

TAKE THE AUTISTIC TRAIT ASSESSMENT – SELF RATING

A private consultation with me will provide extensive clarity and feedback about your own traits and also your relationship.  We will explore your challenges, needs, and goals. A consultation can be a single, stand-alone meeting with me or can be the starting point for ongoing coaching. You can meet with me on your own or with your partner if they are willing.

This consultation is helpful for people who have not had prior therapy or coaching but also for individuals who already have their own therapist and need the expertise and perspective that I can provide about neurodivergence.

1-hour or 2-hour consultations are available on Zoom. The hourly rate for consultations is $200/hour USD.

I typically see private coaching clients once or twice per month. There is no long-term commitment – some people work with me for a month or two, and others work with me for a few years, off and on, as their lives evolve.

My private coaching rate is $200/hour USD.

An initial consultation is required before beginning coaching.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

ABOUT ME, JODI CARLTON, MEd

I have over 20 years of combined experience as a therapist, educator, speaker, and coach. As a professor, I enjoyed inspiring curiosity in psychology students about human drives and motivation. I have worked with thousands of individuals, couples, and families worldwide in over 13 countries with challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, abuse, and brain injury. In the early 2000’s, I developed a counseling program in Dublin, Ireland for the The National Brain Injury Association.

As a leading expert in neurodiverse relationship dynamics, I have helped countless teenagers, parents, adults, and couples to understand brain differences in language, emotions, sensory processing, and behavior.

For me, neurodiversity is personal. My experience comes primarily from my own personal relationships: my 19-year marriage, other romantic partners, my children, other family members, and my closest friends.

I am also a survivor of narcissistic abuse and have spent years recovering from codependency (“pathological kindness”) that developed in my childhood.

Someone once told me, “I can’t imagine the number of people you help because of your own experiences,” and that is my exact mission – to reach and guide you through your own journey of discovery and healing.
