REPAIRING YOUR COMMUNICATION BRIDGE
Every one of us has moments of anger and frustration about something our partner has done, but if you and your partner don’t know how to resolve these hurts, you end up rehashing incidents and conversations over and over – but never get resolution. The hurts start to pile up, and eventually, you are fighting more often than not. You walk on eggshells dreading the next hurtful interaction. You feel constantly criticized, judged, ignored, dismissed, and devalued.
The problem is how you and your partner communicate and the meanings you take from your interactions.
Communication is a bridge that carries information between you and your partner and connects you to one another. When the bridge is damaged, or never properly built, the breakdown in connection results in confusion, hurt, and resentment. In this course, “Battle Busters: Mastering the Path to Peace in Your Relationship,” you will learn a critical first step for repairing your communication bridge.
In the next course of this communication program, “Relationship 2.0 – Crack the Communication Code,” you will learn how to further repair and rebuild your bridge to create a strong, healthy, connection to one another! This method for translating your differences will decrease misunderstandings, repair former hurts, and give you both clarity and connection.
